Montego Bay is a fantastic bustling city. Its also where you will fly into when you get to Jamaica. If your destination is another place like Negril or Ocho Rios there will be transportation for you. The Jamaicans are are really nice people, but you need to have your stuff in order when you arrive in Montego Bay, you need to know where your going and where your hotel name is. Don’t be afraid to ask people behind desks for help they are very accommodating. The airport is very very safe and most people will help if you wish. Make sure you declare everything at customs. Jamaicans often check tourisits to see if they are lying, which is why more and more photographers who don’t have proper visas are refused entry.
